Rapper Pooh Shiesty may face up to life in prison if convicted of an armed robbery he was allegedly involved in, according to The Sun.
As I wrote before, the Chicago rapper, whose real name is Lontrell Williams, was arrested in June for his alleged role in an armed robbery in Oct. of last year.
Pooh Shiesty and a male associate of his allegedly met up with a man who was selling high-end sneakers in front of a hotel.
The rapper allegedly shot the man in his buttocks, and both suspects fled off in his McLaren, with the sneakers, marijuana and liquid codeine.
The “Back In Blood’ rapper had filed for a delay last week, arguing that he needed until Dec. 6 to properly build defense, reports the Rolling Stone.
The rapper faces a life sentence if he is convicted of the most serious count in his indictment.
