LOS ANGELES- Canadian rapper Top5 was arrested in Los Angeles Thursday and is now facing murder charges.
After being on the run for several months, the Toronto rapper, whose real name is Hassan Ali, is a facing a first-degree murder charge. He was also wanted for three counts of failure to comply with bail, reports Monsterandcritics.
The 22-year-old rapper was one of two men who were arrested and charged with the shooting death of Hashim Omar Hashi on Jan. 31.
The charges were upgraded to first-degree murder in May.
