NYC- A woman has been arrested after she allegedly tried to strangle a teenage girl Saturday morning, police say.
Police arrested Minerva Martinez, 36, in connection to the random attack which happened outside of a Sushi restaurant and was captured on video footage.
The attack happened on Monday in Astoria, Queens. Martinez can be seen walking behind the 16-year-old girl, and then putting her in a chokehold.
She then released the girl and backed off.
Martine has been charged with strangulation.
