FLORIDA- A father and his girlfriend have both been charged in the death of his 12-year-old son who was found dead last week, police say.
Jason Godleski, 33, allegedly locked his son, Noah Godleski, inside of a small in their home and beat him until he was crying “and then eventually moaning,” according to an arrest affidavit obtained by WFSB.
The boy’s father, and his girlfriend, Samarial Dubose, 30, then left him and the family dog in the home as they left to Connecticut with their three other children on Oct. 20, reported ClickOrlando.
The boy was reported dead two days later by his father at a police precinct.
Godleski told a 911 dispatcher where the boy was, but denied knowing how or when the boy died.
Godleski and Dubose have both charged with aggravated manslaughter and failure to report a death.
