Rapper Casanova Facing Attempted Murder Charge In Federal Case

Rapper Casanova is facing multiple new charges in his federal case, including attempted murder.

The grand jury charged the rapper, whose real name is Caswell Senior, with attempted murder and assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering. He’s now facing new charges which include assault and weapons charges in addition to previous charges of racketeering conspiracy and narcotics conspiracy.

The indictment states that “on or about October 24, 2020, in the Southern District of Florida, Southern District of New York, and elsewhere,” Casanova and Jayecee (real name Jarrett Crisler, Jr.) “knowingly attempted to murder an individual and assaulted that individual with a dangerous weapon” and “shot at a rival gang member in Miami, Florida”, according to Pitchfork.

The Brooklyn rapper surrendered to police in 2020.

Police are accusing Casanova of allegedly running the “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation” Bloods.
