Jay Jay Phillips, Former ‘America’s Got Talent’ Contestant Dies From COVID-19 At 30

‘America’s Got Talent’ former contestant Jay Jay Phillips has died at the age of 30 due to complications from COVID-19.

According to TMZ, the singer’s health worsened the day before Thanksgiving. His family told him to check himself into a hospital, but he refused, saying he just needed rest.

Phillip’s mother and girlfriend stopped by his home on Thanksgivng to check up on him and discovered him dead.

Phillips was living with his father, who’s in the hospital on a ventilator.

The rock singer appeared on Season 4 of “America’s Got Talent” and was eliminated early in the competition but returned during season 12 and was cut before the quarterfinals.
