TEXAS- A girl allegedly handed out THC-laced cupcakes to her classmates for her birthday last week, sending several students to the nurse’s office and one student to the hospital.
One of the students’ fathers told KPRC-TV that after eating the cupcakes, his 12-year-old daughter and other students began feeling sick and went to the school’s nurse.
Isaac Hernandez told the station that his daughter texted her family “Can you please tell daddy to hurry? I feel like passing out.”
When Hernandez arrived at the school, he said once he saw his daughter pacing back and forth with her eyes wide open, he knew she was high. He took her to a hospital where she tested positive for THC.
The girl who brought the laced cupcakes to school allegedly told students that her father had made them and that they weren’t from a grocery store.
The incident is under investigation.
