PENNSYLVANIA- A 10-year-old boy was killed Tuesday after he was struck and killed by a public bus blocks away from his school, police say.
Joshua Ortiz was running late to school at the McKinley Elementary School when he tried to run across the street and was hit by the bus.
Police say the boy’s death was ruled an accident after reviewing near-by cameras.
Joshua’s mother has since launched a GoFundMe campaign to help with funeral costs. As of Thursday night, over $23,000 was raised.
