NYC- Drill rapper Kay Flock was arrested and charged with murder after allegedly killing a rival gang member.
The 18-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kevin Perez, was charged with Dec. 16 murder of 24-year-old Oscar Hernandez.
Hernandez was sitting inside of a barber shop located on Amsterdam Ave. at W. 151st St waiting for a haircut.
Police say that Kay Flock walked into the barber shop, and asked Hernandez what he was looking at before an argument ensued outside of the shop.
Flock reportedly walked away, but turned around, shooting Hernandez in the neck and back.
A flyer from the NYPD states that the teen rapper is allegedly part of the Thirdside Gang and the shooting was gang related.
According to the victim’s family, Hernandez wasn’t a gang member and didn’t know the rapper.
