Former Basketball Player Dylan Gonzalez Accuses Trey Song Of Rape; He Denies It

Former University Of Nevada, Las Vegas basketball player Dylan Gonalez is accusing singer Trey Songz of allegedly raping her in Las Vegas.

Gonzalez took her accusations to social media on Tuesday, writing:

“With what seems like endlessly reoccurring news of the alleged sexual assaults committed by Trey Songz, I am forced to repeatedly relive in my mind, and suffer anew, the long-suppressed horror and unbearable PTSD of my rape by his very hands at a well known Las Vegas hotel.”

She continued “I want to send my love, strength, and hope to all who are victims of sexual assault and its fatal nature. You are not alone.”

“I stand with you and encourage all those who have suffered abuse to speak out and come forward. Suppression of our voices only emboldens our oppressors, and you cannot heal what you do not reveal.”

Gonzalez, 27, has hired attorneys George Vrabeck and Ariel Mitchell, who told PEOPLE their currently in the process of filing the litigation.

The alleged rape took place 9 years ago.

The 37-year-old singer has denied the allegations, with his rep telling TMZ, “Trey and his team are confident in the legal process and that there will be an abundance of exonerating information to come over the next few weeks.”

“We have been overwhelmed with support for Dylan,” Vrabeck told Page Six “Her resilience, courage and willingness to speak up is remarkable. In addition, we have been overwhelmed by the courage of other Songz’ victims who are coming forward and want to share their story. We intend to hold ALL complicit parties responsible and pursue Dylan’s claims relentlessly until she receives the justice she deserves.”
