TORONTO, Canada: Canadian rapper Smoke Dawg was pronounced dead Saturday morning after him, a female, and a male were shot outside of Cube Nightclub in Toronto. Police say the all three victims were rushed to the hospital, but Smoke Dawg died from his injuries. According to CP24 news police say the suspects left the scene in possibly a Black SUV, or a White car. This took place during “Canada Day Weekend” on Queens street West, which is one of the busiest streets. Neighbors say the scene was “chaotic” as many people fled, fearing for their lives. A witness told CP24 News “When I heard the first gunshot I looked outside because I was in a streetcar and I saw one guy in a white shirt, a black man, fall to the ground. I saw a black SUV with tinted windows storm off,” the woman said. “Then there was four more gunshots after that and we all went down to the ground as we were instructed by the streetcar driver”. Drake has confirmed his death via his Instagram story. Smoke Dawg was part of documentary “Northside”that brought attention to upcoming rappers and artist from Canada.
