CONNECTICUT- A teenage high school student suffered an apparent drug overdose from fentanyl-laced marijuana on Monday, police say.
Police found the 16-year-old student suffering from a drug overdose in the school’s security office. They believe the overdose was brought on by fentanyl-laced marijuana, reports The Hartford Courant.
The unidentified teen was given several doses of a drug to reverse the overdose but was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The student was later released from the hospital.
There is an active investigation and there have been no arrests.
