HOUSTON- A missing woman was strangled and dismembered by a man who set his house on fire in an attempt to kill himself, according to court docs.
Henry David Cossette, 28, was charged on Monday with murder, arson and tampering with evidence in the death of Sara Goodwill, 19, according to KPRC.
Goodwin, a sex worker, was reported missing on Feb. 6.
Cossette allegedly strangled Goodwin before mutilating her corpse and hiding her remains. He then set fire to his apartment Saturday.
Police told KPRC that surveillance video showed Goodwin “willingly” getting into a vehicle that was seen riding around the neighborhood she worked in attempting to lure woman.
Cossette is currently being held without bail.
