Boy Found Dead In Freezer; Mother’s Boyfriend Arrested

LAS VEGAS- Las Vegas police are investigating the death of a boy who was found dead dead in a freezer.

The mother’s boyfriend was retained on a murder charge and two kidnapping charges after police searched the home, Fox 5 Las Vegas reported.

The toddler was last seen alive in December.

The investigation began after the mother sent a note with her other child to give to a teacher. The note said that the mother had been held against her will and hadn’t seen her son since Dec.11 and he was assumed dead.

The teacher contacted authorities.

The mother told police that she was being abused by her boyfriend and didn’t ask about her son. She also said she was told to stay away from the garage.

Authorities returned to the home with a warrant and discovered the boy’s boys inside of a freezer in the garage.

Investigators are calling the case a “domestic-related homicide of a child”, reports Fox 40 reported.
