LOS ANGELES- Rapper Yngx 17 was killed on Monday after he was pinned down by a trailer following an altercation with a driver.
Yngx 17, whose real name is Taariq Grant, was identified by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office as the man who was killed, according to reports.
Police say Yngx and a driver who was hauling a trailer got into a verbal altercation.
Yngx allegedly climbed on top of the trailer, and it crashed into a concrete divider, which made him fall underneath it, where he was crushed.
The 28-year-old rapper was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified by his family.
There is an ongoing investigation.
