Actor Emilio Delgado, known for his character Luis on ‘Sesame Street’ has died at the age of 81.
Delgado claimed the record for the longest-running role for a Mexican American.
Delgado spent 40 years on the show.
The actor’s wife, Carole Delgado, told TMZ that the actor had been battling blood cancer for the past few years and that he died peacefully, surrounded by his family in NYC.
