Drill Rapper C Blu Released From Jail After NYPD Officer Lied On Him

THE BRONX- Drill rapper C Blu was released from jail on Thursday after he was arrested for an accidental shooting that involved two NYPD officers who lied about the incident.

Family Court judge Gayle Roberts allowed the rapper to go home after spending a month in custody.

The rapper, whose real name is Camrin Williams, was asked by the judge what he thinks he has to do for him to stay out of trouble and he replied “You want me to follow the rules from probation and my mother. If I’m out past a certain time make sure I’m with an adult”, reports The NY Daily News.

C Blu’s arresting officer wrote in his report that the rapper was part of a “disorderly crowd” and when he was approached, he refused to take his hands out of his pocket before the accidental shooting.

As I wrote before, on March 8, a Bronx judge called the arresting officer, saying his account was “incredible and unreliable” after body cam footage showed that C Blu DID cooperate.

The judge had C Blu’s case was removed from the Bronx Supreme Court, where he was initially charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon as an adult.

The case is now in Family Court, and it’s unclear if C Blu will be facing any charges, especially after his arresting officer basically lied on him.
