FLORIDA (WFLA)- Singer/rapper Rod Wave gave back by donating $25,000 worth of gasoline on Saturday at the Sunoco Gas Station on 34th Street South.
Hundreds of St. Pete residents lined up for the the free event hours before it started at noon.
Rod Wave said “Without what they gave to me, I probably wouldn’t be who I am today, so that kind of stuff is only a portion of what I want to do and bring back to the city.”
He also told WFLA that he plans on doing more for his community.
Gas prices have soared, making it difficult for many Americans.
