NORTH CAROLINA- A Jimmy John’s employee was stabbed by a customer over a sandwich, police said.
Police say they arrived at the restaurant on April 25 about a report of an assault.
Demetris Holeman, 45, got into an argument with the teenage employee over her order and began throwing several items at the employee before pulling out a sharp object and allegedly stabbing the victim, according to a news conference.
The teen victim was rushed to a hospital and treated for her injuries.
Holeman was arrested hours later and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and injury to real property for damaging the the store.
