Rapper Kidd Creole Sentenced to 16 Years In Prison In Murder Of Homeless Man

NY – Rapper Kidd Creole was sentenced to 16 years in prison for the murder of a homeless man in 2017.

The rapper, whose real name is Nathaniel Glover, was found guilty of manslaughter in the first-degree last month for the killing of 55-year-old John Jolly.

Prosecutors say Glover stabbed Jolly twice in the chest with a steak knife after going in a rage when he found out Jolly was gay and allegedly made a move on him, reports WABC.

The deadly incident happened as Glover was walking home from his job before midnight on when Jolly had asked him “What’s up”, prosecutors said. Glover admitted to authorities that he stabbed Jolly in the chest, WABC reported.

Kidd Creole was a founding member of the rap group Grandmaster Flash And The Furious Five.
