The man accused of killing Nicki Minaj’s father in a hit-and-run has pleaded not guilty on Friday.
Charles Polevich admitted to leaving the scene after hitting the rapper’s father, Robert Maraj, with his car, as he was walking his dog in Feb. of 2021, according to reports.
Polevich,78, got out of his vehicle, saw that he had hit Maraj, who was injured on the floor, an drove off.
Polevich pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence by concealing the car.
Nicki Minaj and prosecutors don’t believe justice was served as Polevich was sentenced to serve just one year in prison.
