NEW YORK, Ny: A rapper by the name of “Young Ash” has been arrested for allegedly luring her fans into a check fraud scheme according to NYPD. According to records in Manhattan’s criminal court, Gabriel Molina, 32, who was a concierge at a building on the upper West side is accused of taking photos of tenants rent checks and then allegedly making phony checks with their information. Molina got the help of “Young Ash” who Prosecutors say lured her fans into a check fraud scheme by telling them they would receive cash in exchange for their the use of the their bank accounts and ATM cards. There were other people involved in this fraud ring, and they would deposit fake checks into peoples accounts and withdraw the money. The defendants in the case allegedly deposited 52 checks worth over $60,000. “Young Ash” has released a statement on her Instagram denying the accusations. Well, we’ll see..
