Rapper Young Thug’s Confinement “Inhumane”, Attorney Files Emergency Motion For Bond

ATLANTA- Young Thug’s attorneys filed an emergency motion on Friday, seeking bond for the rapper, calling the rapper’s confinement “inhumane”.

The rapper, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was arrested on Monday at his home after being named in a gang-related indictment along with 28 others.

According to the Atlanta-Constitution, Thug’s lawyer, Brian Steel, filed the bond motion on Friday, saying that his client has spent 4 days in isolation “as if he is a forgotten person alone in the world.”

The motion seeks better conditions for the rapper, as his lawyer claims that overhead lights in his cell are kept on 24 hours a day, which are preventing Williams from sleeping, reports the newspaper.

Thug’s attorneys also claim that he’s being served “inedible” food and hasn’t been able to interact with anyone and exercise.

Williams is being held in Fulton County Jail as he awaits his trial.
