MARYLAND- A McDonald’s employee was shot and killed in what police are calling a targeted drive-by shooting.
Officers say they responded to a report of gunshots around 4:45 a.m. at a McDonald’s in Gambrills, Maryland, according to a statement released by the Anne Arundel County Police Department on social media.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a deceased male who was identified as Britrain Marcelus Gray, 23.
Gray was shot as he was working his shift at the drive thru. The suspect then fled the scene.
Detectives say from the information they collected at the scene, it’s clear that the victim was targeted, reports Newsweek.
There have been no arrests made.
