Actor Ray Liotta, best known for his role in the movie ‘Goodfellas’, has died at the age of 67.
The actor’s publicist confirmed his death with USA TODAY.
The actor died in his sleep while filming a new movie “Dangerous Waters” in the Dominican Republic. His fiancée Jacy Nittolo was on location with him.
The actor had his breakthrough role in Martin Scorsese’s mafia movie “Goodfellas” where he played Henry Hill, a gangster turned “Rat”. He also starred in the spin-off of the Sopranos “The Many Saints Of Newark”.
Liotta was adopted when he was 6 months old and grew up in New Jersey.
