JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA- Rapper Ksoo’s trial has been delayed.
The rapper’s trial was postponed on Tuesday, reports firstcoastnews.com.
Ksoo’s lawyer requested to have the trial delayed at a pretrial hearing, citing the prosecutor’s addition of his father, Abdul Robinson Sr., who is now a witness and the discovery of new materials involved, according to firstcoastnews.
The judge granted the motion, and the state didn’t object.
Ksoo’s next pretrial dates for each of his 2 murder cases have been scheduled for July 19.
Ksoo, whose real name is Hakeem Robinson, was indicted in March for first-degree murder in two cases for the deaths of Adrian (Bibby) Gainer who was killed in Feb. of 2019 and for the death of Charles McCormick (Lil Buck) who was killed in Jan. of 2020.
Robinson has pleaded not guilty.
Robinson’s father agreed to testify last month against him and his brother in the McCormick case and was transferred to another jail several weeks ago.
Robinson, his brother Abdul Robinson Jr. and Leroy Whitaker were also indicted in the 2020 murder of McCormick.
