GEORGIA- The man accused of allegedly killing rapper Trouble was denied bond.
A Rockdale County judge denied 33-year-old Jamichael Jones bail on Tuesday, according to local news outlets.
Jones had turned himself into police custody Tuesday after his mother convinced him to cooperate with authorities.
Jones has been charged with murder, home invasion, aggravated assault and battery in the rapper’s death.
Trouble, whose real name is Mariel Semonte Orr, was found dead outside of an apartment complex on Sunday. The 33-year-old rapper was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
A warrant states that Jones arrived at the apartment complex, finding Trouble in bed with his ex-girlfriend. The woman allegedly awoke to Jones punching her in the face.
The woman told police that Jones and Trouble began fighting before Jones pulled a gun out and shot the rapper in the chest and fled the apartment.
The woman reportedly had injuries on her face.
Jones and Trouble didn’t know each other.
