LOS ANGELES- YouTuber turned rapper DDG was arrested on felony gun charges, police said.
The rapper was arrested on June 6 and booked into the Van Nuys Jail in Los Angeles, according to the department’s website.
The rapper, whose real name is Darryl Granberry was released after posting a $35,000 bond on Tuesday. He’s due back in court on June 2, according to reports.
Authorities say the Granberry was pulled over for reckless driving in his Lamborghini. When police searched his car, they said a gun was found which led to his arrest for felony possession of a concealed weapon.
DDG was a known YouTuber before becoming a rapper. He released his first single in 2018 from his EP Take Me Serious. He signed to Epic Records and then founded his label Zooted Music.
