SOUTH AFRICA- At least 22 people died at a nightclub in the coastal town of East London early Sunday, according to reports.
The cause of death for the 22 teenagers are unknown. They were reportedly at the club celebrating the end of winter school exams.
The bodies of the victims were found strewn across tables and chairs without any signs of visible signs, according to local newspaper Daily Dispatch.
Autopsy’s will be conducted for the victims, whose bodies were sent to state mortuaries.
The owner of the pub said he was called to the scene on Sunday. He said that he’s unsure what happened but was told that morning that the pub was full, but there were people trying to force themselves inside, according to local broadcaster eNCA.
