CALIFORNIA- A UPS driver died after collapsing from the California heat while on the job, and a day after his 24th birthday.
Esteban Chavez Jr., 24, was delivering packages last Saturday when he passed out in his truck as temperatures reached the upper 90’s, reports KABC-TV.
According to his family, Chavez suffered from heat stroke was comatose for about 20 minutes before help arrived.
His death is under investigation.
