Rapper Gunna Denied Bond Again In Rico Case, Will Remain Behind Bars Until Trial

ATLANTA- Rapper Gunna was denied bond again and will remain in jail until he faces RICO Act violation charges in 2023.

A judge in Fulton County denied the Atlanta rapper bail for the second time over the rapper posing a threat and concerns about witness intimidation, according to reports.

Gunna pleaded not guilty to one charge of violating Georgia’s anti-racketeering law during the hearing.

Gunna’s co-lead counsel Steve Sadow said he and his client were “very disappointed” in the judge’s decision and that they produced “substantial evidence” to the judge, reports Billboard.

Gunna, whose real name is Sergio Kitchens, turned himself into police after being accused of conspiring to violate the RICO Act in an indictment that led to the arrests of Young Thug and 26 others affiliated with YSL, Young Thug’s record label.

Gunna has a trial date set for Jan. 9, 2023.
