TEXAS- A 17-year-old has been arrested in the death of a 14-year-old who was killed and robbed of his sneakers, police said.
Ramiro Hernandez was arrested last Wednesday in the fatal shooting of Axel Turcios, who was killed in May, according to reports.

Hernandez was charged with capital murder.
The shooting happened on May 6. Turcios was reportedly in his family’s apartment complex parking lot when he was approached by two male suspects. One, or both allegedly shot him and fled the scene in a dark Chrysler PT Cruiser.
Police say that Turcios told a witness who ran over to help him that the suspects ripped his sneakers off his feet as he laid on the ground bleeding.
Turcios was taken to a hospital and placed in critical condition. He died the next day from his injuries.
Hernandez is the only suspect that has been charged.
