Robbery Suspect Buys Mask And Robs Store He Brought It From

HOUSTON- Police say a suspect purchased a face mask at a convenience store and then robbed the store moments later, authorities said Thursday.

The robbery happened on July 4 around 4 a.m. Police say the male suspect brought a face mask and then waited several minutes for customers to leave, police said, according to Fox News.

The store clerk left the register to restock items when the suspect put the mask on and allegedly pulled out a gun demanding money from the clerk.

Police say the clerk put money in a bag, and the suspect fled the scene.
