MANHATTAN- A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder in the death of his daughter’s mother who was gunned in broad daylight last month.
Isaac Argro is facing one count of second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in a press release Wednesday.
Azsia Johnson, 20, was pushing her infant in a stroller down a street on the Upper West Side on June 29 when Argro walked up from behind her dressed all black and allegedly shot her point-blank in the head and fled the scene.
She later died from her injuries. Her daughter wasn’t harmed.
Argro had texted Johnson to meet up with him so that he could give her items for their daughter, but he clearly had other plans.
