TAMPA, FLORIDA- The man accused of killing rapper Rollie Bands has been arrested, police said.
U.S Marshals arrested Darren Day, 25, Tuesday on a first-degree murder charge for the death of Rollie Bands, whose real name is Ari “Aj” Williams, reports WFLA-TV.
The 27-year-old rapper was killed just 5 minutes after challenging his enemies on social media by posting his address on Instagram.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex in Tampa and found the rapper with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
Authorities believe that rapper and Day knew each other.
