ARIZONA- A Wendy’s employee is accused of killing an elderly customer who complained about his food, police said.
The attack happened on July 26 at the fast-food restaurant, according to a press report.
The employee, identified as Antoine Kendrick, allegedly came from behind the counter and struck the unidentified 67-year-old victim, who fell to the ground, striking his head again and falling unconscious.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital, but died from his injuries on Aug. 5, according to ABC15.
Kendrick was initially charged with aggravated assault, which was upgraded to second-degree murder after the victim died.
