Rapper Paper Lovee Sentenced To Serve 7 Years In Prison For Gun Possession

Rapper Paper Lovee has been sentenced to prison after being convicted of attempting to throw a bag with a loaded gun over an interstate guardrail after fleeing from police.

Paper Lovee, whose real name is Ibnisa Durr, was sentenced to seven years and four months in federal for possessing a firearm while fleeing from police, reports Fox News.

The alleged incident happened on Aug. 2021 while officers were assisting the Atlanta Police Department Fugitive Unit tracking the rapper, who was wanted for a shooting that occurred May 30, 2021, in Atlanta, according to Fox News.

When officers attempted to stop Durr, he allegedly hit two police patrol cars. Durr ended the chase crashing into multiple patrol cars. One officer was injured.
Durr attempted to flee on foot but was caught and arrested. He plead guilty to felon in possession of a firearm on May, 25, 2022.
