SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA- A man accused of shooting a 12-year-old girl during a road rage incident Friday has been arrested, police say.
Police say a mother was driving with her three children, ages 12, 6 and 6 months when she was involved in a road rage incident with another motorist, according to the Pittsburg Police Department, reports The Modesto.
The suspect allegedly pulled up beside the victim’s car, displayed a handgun and fired a single shot, striking the 12-year-old girl in the leg.
She was rushed to a hospital where she was placed in stable condition.
The suspect, identified as Dwayne Brown III, was detained at his apartment complex by police.
Charges against Brown III are not available at this time.
