19-Year-Old Charged After Fatally Shooting Mother, Her Boyfriend

DETROIT- A 19-year-old has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of his mother and her boyfriend, police say.

Demond Thomas Burgen Jr., was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of a felony firearm, reports CBS Detroit.

The incident happened Friday.

Police say Burgen Jr. allegedly shot and killed his mother and her boyfriend.

There is no known motive at this time.
