MIAMI, FLORIDA- A woman named after rapper Tupac Shakur was arrested after allegedly attacking a man with a bat.
Tupac Amaru Shakur, 34, was arrested Tuesday, police said, according to WPLG.
Shakur stood in front of a judge in Miami Dade Wednesday morning, according to reports.
Wednesday was also the 26th anniversary of the rapper’s death.
According to an affidavit obtained by Local10, Shakur allegedly hit the male victim several times with a bat as he sat outside a hospital around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The victim reportedly knew Shukar from being homeless and living close-by the hospital.
