Rapper Mystikal Pleads Not Guilty To Charges Of Rape, Faces Life In Prison

LOUISIANA- Rapper Mystikal pleaded not guilty Monday to charges of rape and drug possession.

The 51-year-old rapper, whose real name is Michael Tyler, is accused of kidnapping a woman, choking and raping her inside of his Louisiana home and possession of drugs.

His charges include first-degree rape, which carries a life sentence.

He’s also facing charges of domestic battery by strangulation, simple robbery, possession of heroin, Xanax and more.

The troubled rapper served six years in prison after being indicted on rape and kidnapping charges in 2017.
