CALIFORNIA- A woman is accused of running a man over with her car because she thought he was going to kill a cat in the street.
Hannah Star Esser, 20, is now facing murder charges.
Police say Esser got out of her vehicle on Sept. 25, cursed at Luis Anthony Victor, 40, and accused him of trying to run over a cat, according to reports.
Victor attempted to talk to Esser, but police say she got inside of her car, turned it around and purposely drove towards him.
Esser hit Victor so hard with her vehicle that he was thrown in the air.
Victor landed on the roof of the car and windshield, with his body flipping several times before he hit the pavement.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Prosecutors say that Esser recorded the horrific incident.
Esser faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
