Father, Teen Son Charged In Rapper PNB Rock’s Murder

LOS ANGELES- Police have charged a father, and his teenage son with murder in the fatal shooting of rapper PNB Rock.

Police have charged a 17-year-old boy, and his father, Freddie Lee Trone, 40, who’s still not in custody, with one count of murder, one count of conspiracy and two counts of second-degree robbery.

The unidentified minor was initially arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of murder, along with his stepmother, Shauntel Trone, 38, who was arrested on suspicion of accessory to murder, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Shauntel has now been charged with accessory after the fact.

The teen remains behind bars and made his first court appearance in juvenile court Thursday and will return next month.

Shauntel Trone is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.

Freddie Lee Trone is still on the loose.

Police believe that he was the one who killed rapper PNB Rock as he was eating at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles with his girlfriend in South L.A.
