He was arrested Thursday by police inside an apartment complex in Las Vegas.

He was charged with one count of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of second-degree robbery, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Freddie’s 17-year-old son was also charged with the same counts as him, and his wife, 38-year-old Shauntel Trone, was charged with one count of accessory after the fact.

Shauntel was arraigned on Thursday, and she pleaded not guilty. It’s unclear what her role was in the rapper’s death, KTTV reports.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by PEOPLE, Freddie’s 17-year-old son was the one who allegedly shot and killed PnB Rock.

The teen appeared in juvenile court Thursday. It’s unclear if he will be tried as an adult.

PnB Rock, whose real name is Rakim Allen, was robbed and fatally shot as he ate at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffle in South Los Aneles earlier this month.

He was eating with his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang. Both shared a 2-year-old daughter, Xuri.

The 30-year-old rapper also left behind his oldest daughter, 8-year-old Milan.

Stephanie had posted a photo of where the couple was eating, and police had initially believed that the photo may have helped the suspects, but police said they were already in the parking lot of the restaurant.

In a criminal complaint, it noted that a “man in a red shirt” saw the rapper enter the restaurant and waited outside until the father and son arrived in a Buick Enclave.

Freddie allegedly spoke to the man, who wasn’t identified, before dropping the teen off and driving off. Freddie’s teen son then “armed himself with a handgun” and allegedly returned to the restaurant and the man in the red shirt left, prosecutors noted, according to a criminal complaint obtained by PEOPLE.

The teen, wearing a mask, approached PnB’s table, demanding he hand over his jewelry and other valuables that were worth “several hundreds of thousands of dollars”. The teen then shot the rapper once in the chest and twice in his back.

He then ran out of the restaurant, jumped into the car belonging to his father, who had returned to the parking lot to pick him up and both fled the scene, the complaint said.

PnB succumbed to his injuries.

Freddie will most likely be extradited from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.
