Florida Man Used Baby As Human Sheild Before Being Tasered And Arrested

FLORIDA- A man was caught using his infant as a human shield on video before he was arrested.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office says officers responded to a report from a woman last week that her boyfriend, Brandon Leohner, had abducted their 1-year-old son at gunpoint, according to The Post.

Police say they spotted Leohner driving recklessly with his son in his lap, speeding along a highway.

Leohner refused to pull over during the traffic stop, and almost went into oncoming traffic.

He eventually pulled up near a McDonald’s drive-thru and exited the vehicle with his son in his arms. Video shows Leohner refusing to put his infant son down, as police surrounded him.

Leohner was eventually tasered and he dropped to the ground.

The frightened infant was taken away by an officer.

Leohner was arrested with the help of K-9.

He was charged with using a minor as a shield, kidnapping, resisting with violence, child neglect, fleeing and eluding and reckless driving.
