NY- A Tattoo artist who inked a 10-year-old boy after his mother allowed him to do so has been arrested and charged.
Austin Smith, 20, was taken into custody by police and charged with unlawfully dealing with a child in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Smith was arrested a week after the boy’s mother, Crystal Thomas, was also arrested and charged.
Thomas, 33, is accused of allowing her son to a “large permanent ink tattoo on his body” inside of a hotel.
Police were notified after the boy asked his school nurse for Vaseline for his tattoo.
ACS removed the boy from his mother’s home.
