Day Care Workers Who Used Horror Masks To Scare Kids Charged With Felony Child Abuse

Five daycare workers have been charged with child abuse after a video surfaced, showing them scaring children with a “Scream” Halloween mask.

The incident took place at Lil’ Blessings Child Care and Learning Center in Mississippi.

The children in the video can be seen terrified and crying as the workers continue to scare them. One of the workers can be seen asking one child “Are you being bad? Do I need to take you outside?”

The daycare workers have been identified as Oci-Anna Kilburn, Sierra McCandles, Jennifer Newman, Shyenne Shelton and Traci Hutson.

Newman, Shelton, Kilburn, and McCandles face three counts of felony child abuse for their role in the indictment and Hutson faces two counts of simple assault against a minor and failure to report abuse. Both charged are misdemeanors.
