A missing grandmother’s body was found inside of a 22-foot python, according to reports.
Police in Indonesia said a search for the victim, identified as Jahrah, 54, was launched after she failed to return from collecting rubber from a plantation on Sunday, reports CNN Indonesia.
Her husband had reportedly searched the area, but he only found her knife and headscarf, police told the outlet.
He went back to the area the following day with a search team after he spotted a python with a huge swollen stomach after eating something extremely large.
Video shows a volunteer using a tree branch to pin the snake’s head down as others start bashing it. Once the snake is dead, the volunteers begin to slice the snake open and discovered the woman’s body inside.
Police believe there are larger snakes still out there.
