Ex-NFL Tight End Lance Kendricks Arrested On DUI Charge, Passed Out Behind Wheel, Police

CALIFORNIA- Former NFL tight end Lance Kendricks was arrested for DUI over this past weekend.

Police say Kendricks was found passed out behind the wheel his car with the engine still running, according to Fox News.

Officers said they responded to reports of a Ford Branco “swerving” on the road around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, Santa Monica police told Fox News.

Once on the scene, police said Kendricks was allegedly found “passed out in the driver’s seat with the engine still running.” Police also said that the former NFL player displayed “signs of intoxication.”

He was “cited” out of the charge after failing a sobriety test.

Kendricks played in the NFL for nine years, after being drafted by the Rams in 2011. He spent 2 seasons with the Green Bay Packers before playing for the New England Patriots in 2019.

He was suspended by week one for violating the league’s substance abuse policy and then went on and signed with the Los Angeles Charges, playing 12 games.
