FLORIDA- A man has been arrested and charged after he was allegedly caught on camera dragging a French Bulldog mix behind his pickup truck, police said.
Lisa Arellano, 45, is now facing two animal cruelty charges.
The dog luckily survived but suffered scrapes to its body.
A witness called 911, after witnessing Arellano dragging the dog. The witness thought that the incident was an accident, but then saw Arellano stop his truck, pick the dog up the dog from the ground before throwing the dog in the bed of his truck.
Arellano told police that a family member had given him the dog to watch.
He was released on a $3,000 bond on Monday.
